PI Vision Custom Symbol - COMPASS

Description

The PI Vision custom symbol Compass is a single datasource symbol that behaves like a compass or a wind direction diagram.

It cames with 5 different backgrounds :

• Vintage black

  

• Simple black & white

  

• Vintage white

  

• Simple white

  

• Blue

  

Configuration options

• Background image

  

• Arrow behavior
  • Compass : the background is fixed, the arrow is mobile
  • Wind Direction : the arrow is fixed, the background is mobile

  

Wind direction examples :

• Input data format
  • Text : the expected inputs are 16 standard directions : North, North-North-East, North-East, North-East-East, etc...
    Abbreviations and low case are also allowed as inputs :
    • N, E, S, W, n, e, s, w
    • NE, SE, SW, NW, ne, se, sw, nw
    • NNE, NEE, SEE, SSE, SSW, SWW, NWW, NNW, nne, nee, etc...

  

  • Number : define the range of the input data, which corresponds to a full 360 degrees rotation
    (minimum value = 0 degrees = North)
